The following guide breaks down the One Button Maintenance into 8 quick and easy steps.

Crew CM50 Daily Cleaning - One Button Maintenance

The One Button Maintenance program is a complete cleaning cycle which must be performed every day to keep the Crew CM50 running in peak condition and to prevent performance issues and breakdowns.

 

For the daily One Button Maintenance you will need:

  • Crew Coffee Machine Milk System Cleaner – available here
  • Crew Coffee Machine Cleaning Tabs – available here
  • Empty container of about 1 litre
  • Access to clean water

The One Button Maintenance program contains 8 steps and can be completed in under 5 minutes.

 

Step 1

Open the drawer to access the hot chocolate mixer unit. Follow the steps in the video to remove and clean the mixer bowl. Once clean return to the machine (any moisture remaining in the mixer will dry over night).

Step 2

Close the door and press ‘next’ on the screen.

Step 3

The coffee machine will perform a short cleaning cycle of the hot chocolate mixing bowl.

Step 4

Add a Crew Coffee Machine Cleaning tablet to the chute between the two coffee hoppers. Add 500ml clean water to the empty container and add 50-60ml of Crew Coffee Machine Milk System Cleaner to this container.

Step 5

The coffee machine will perform a short cleaning cycle.

Step 6

Discard any remaining cleaning solution from the container and replace with 500ml of clean water.

Step 7

The coffee machine will perform a short cleaning cycle.

Step 8

Empty the grounds container and press next on the screen once returned to the machine. The machine will then asked to be powered off.

Milk Dispensing Issues

The following guides will help you troubleshoot and remedy any milk dispensing issues.

Crew CM50 Milk Flow Adjustment

Adjusting the milk flow on the Crew CM50 is done via the milk frother contained within the dispensing head.

 

Symptoms: Milk flow is sputtering. Milk is too cold. Milk is too hot.

If the milk dial is turned too far clockwise or anti-clockwise the milk will start to sputter.

The milk flow on the Crew CM50 can be adjusted to accommodate for a variety of milks and to also change the temperature of the milk. A small dial on the milk frother can be turned clockwise to reduce the milk flow and increase the temperature. Turning the dial anti-clockwise will increase the milk flow and reduce the milk temperature.

Cleaning the milk dispenser regularly is essential to prevent issues and blockages along with keeping the coffee tasting at it’s very best.
